Children of Bellevue, (CoB) (www.childrenofbellevue.org) has teamed up with ZClub NY (www.zclubny.com) and Vita Coco to hold a ZUMBATHON fundraiser for some of the neediest children in the Metropolitan NY area. The event will take place on:

Exercise clothing is required. When participants see a Zumba class in action, they can’t wait to give it a try. Zumba classes feature exotic rhythms set to high-energy Latin and international beats. Before participants know it, they’re getting fit and their energy levels are soaring! There’s no other fitness class like a Zumba Fitness-Party!
Children of Bellevue
(CoB) (www.childrenofbellevue.org) strives to provide programs that alleviate the fear, pain and potential
trauma children face from being hospitalized, having a chronic or mental
illness or being abused and/or neglected. We also leverage health care to
enhance early development and school readiness in children at risk because of
CoB directly helps Bellevue Hospital Center face the difficult
challenge of providing primary and specialty healthcare services to a
population at greater risk.
We support six specific innovative programs and life changing
The Video Interaction Project, which guides
parent-child interactions, is now at two City hospitals (Bellevue and Woodhull)
and nationally acclaimed. Recent funding by NYC as part of the
City’s First Readers Initiative is helping this program grow.
The CCPEP (Children’s Comprehensive Psychiatric
Emergency Program) is unlike any other in the City and our complementary
inpatient services, at 45 beds, larger than any other.
Reach Out and Read (ROR), a program which gives
out more than 12,000 brand new books each year to preschool age children.
Child Life Services which offer play
therapy and other services that prepare children for procedures and hospital
stays and enhance the medical encounter.
Pediatrics (DBP) Program provides children with Autism, ADHD and other
conditions the care that is simply unavailable to this population elsewhere in
the City due to the limited number of specialists and our patients’ health
The Francis L. Loeb Center for Child Protection and Development (CPDC)
provides treatment of
physically and sexually abused children and adolescents.
